Welcome to "Sermons!" At First Free, we are committed to teaching the Bible and applying it to our daily lives. This occurs as part of Sunday worship; classes for children, students and adults; small groups; and on other occasions. In Sunday morning worship, our commitment is to preach and teach through books of the Bible, seeking to understand what the Bible says and then seeking to relate it to our personal experiences and challenges.
We believe that "all Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correction and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
2 Timothy 3:16,17

Note to Pastors and Teachers: The material on this site belongs to our Lord Jesus Christ to be used for His glory and the building up of His Body. You are welcome to use materials here in your preaching and teaching within the appropriate ethical parameters. In consideration of reported widespread plagiarism and the temptation to use the work of another as one's own, we remind you of the 8th commandment, "You shall not steal." We do not consider it stealing to glean ideas from others that help in the understanding, application and communication of God's truth. However, if direct quotes or exact outlines are "borrowed," a biblically informed conscience requires acknowledgment of the source.
May Jesus Christ be glorified as we encourage one another in the teaching and application of God's Word.
