Marriage is one of the most joyous, difficult, and formative endeavors in this life. For the married Christian it is a significant part of discipleship. But what does it take to have a good one? How do you keep growing in it? The truth is the work of marriage is never done, and if we want to glorify God through marriage it requires intentional work. That’s the hope of this conference, to provide every marriage an opportunity to focus on this God-given relationship and take an intentional step to help it thrive.

FAQ
Who is this event for?
This event is not just for couples in a struggling marriage. This event is for anyone who believes in the importance Scripture places on marriage and wants to see marriage thrive. For those married, your marriage is such an important part of discipleship and an area we cannot neglect. So, whether your marriage is struggling, thriving, or just trudging along, we hope you will plan to join us as we explore how to cultivate a healthy marriage.
Additionally, if you are dating, engaged, or simply wanting to learn more about the importance of marriage and how to develop a strong foundation this conference will help you build a biblical view of marriage.
What if I want to come but my spouse doesn’t?
You are welcome to come without your spouse, but this event will be most beneficial if both of you attend.
I want to come but the price is too much. Is there help?
Don’t let money be a hindrance. We have scholarships available if you are unable to pay the registration fee. Please reach out to Pastor Jordan Green for more information.
Do I have to stay for lunch?
No, you are welcome to make other plans for lunch. However, we are planning to have a unique conversation with Dave and Ann over lunch that you may not want to miss.
What about childcare?
Childcare will be offered for Friday evening only for children up through 5th grade with registration by Monday, September 16.
We know it can be a challenge to arrange your own childcare for any length of time, but we believe this conference weekend will be worth the investment in your marriage and familiy. Here are some suggestions that might be helpful in your planning for Saturday:
- Consider asking a trusted family member or friend if they’re available to help, or check with the local teens in your neighborhood or youth group for an experienced babysitter.
- Talk with your community group or friends about bringing kids to one house, sharing 1-2 babysitters, and splitting the cost.
- The current rate for babysitters is approximately $12-$15 an hour depending on their experience, First Aid/CPR knowledge, ability to provide their own transportation, and number/ages of kids.
- We don't want the cost or arrangement of childcare to hinder you from attending the conference. If this is the case, please reach out to Pastor Jordan Green.
