Our students are the future of our church. More than that, they are the future of our world—a world that desperately needs the gospel. At a time when many young people are leaving the faith, God has been making disciples among students at First Free. They are believing the gospel, growing in their love for God, and being equipped for a lifetime of following Jesus, serving the church, and reaching the lost. While we celebrate the growth, we believe this is a critical time to invest in what God is doing among young people at First Free.
Built in 1969 and purchased in 1991, our current Student Ministries building (often referred to as the Outpost) has served us well for decades. But years of use have taken a toll on the facility, and the ministry has now outgrown the 4,464-square-foot building. Meanwhile, our Children’s Ministries are also experiencing space constraints in our main building.
By 2027, we hope to begin the construction of a new, two-story Student Ministries building to be the home of both Middle School Ministry and High School Ministry. Designed with teaching, worship, and fellowship in mind, the new building will enable us to more effectively make disciples and will provide the space needed to welcome new families to our church.
First Free has a 75-year legacy of generosity and wise stewardship for the advancement of the gospel. Please join us in the next chapter of our church’s story—raising a new building to raise the next generation of disciples.
