Sermon Questions
- We learned from Joshua 22:1-9 that God’s people should be united in purpose. Our purpose/mission as a church is to make disciples who glorify God as the grace of the gospel grows deep in God’s people and goes wide to all peoples. Why is it important to be united around this mission? How can we/you do better at being united around this mission?
- We learned from Joshua 22:10-20 that God’s people should be united in purity. When one person/group of people sins it affects the whole church. How have you seen this principle at play in your own life?
- We learned from Joshua 22:21-34 that God’s people should be united in praise. How does the gospel give us equal access to the throne of grace and the presence of God? How do you struggle to believe that we all have equal access to God?
- We learned from Joshua 22 that when God’s people are unified, God is glorified. Where do you need to seek unity in the body of Christ for the glory of God. (See Romans 12:1-2.)
