Dan Nelson
Associate Pastor
Dan is in his second year of our Pastoral Residency Program and is participating in all areas of ministry at First Free, including ample learning and teaching opportunities. He’s passionate about equipping believers for ministry and is preparing to return to Wisconsin to church plant after his residency ends. He has two degrees from Trinity International University---an MDiv from the Divinity School and an undergraduate degree in Christian ministries.
He and his wife, Heather, have been married since 2011 and have two kids, Abby and Levi, along with two blue heelers named Gordon and Goose and a cat name Gibbs. When not at work, you can find him riding bikes with his family downtown on the weekends or enjoying movies, chess, games, and reading.
What do you love about doing ministry at First Free?
