Children will always be important at First Free. As a parent, you can be confident that we are doing everything we can to make sure your child is safe and well cared for while in our programs. We exist to make disciples of Jesus Christ and believe that starts in the home. As a church it is our goal to equip and encourage you as the primary spiritual influence in your child's life. Discipleship is a lifelong journey that can start at a very young age. From nursery through elementary school we want to help you give your kids a spiritual foundation that will stay with them through the rest of their life.
What to Expect
Our children's classes meet on Sundays during both the 9:00 and 10:45 services. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early if you are a first-time visitor. Come to the Welcome Desk in our Courtyard to check in and we'll get you where you need to be!
Nursery: Our youngest children are cared for by a team of caring volunteers eager to help your child have a positive first experience in church. Older children in the nursery will engage in structured activities including music and a simple lesson.
Preschool: Preschoolers are busy, eager, learners! Classes are structured with age appropriate activities, singing, and Bible lessons where boys and girls will explore truths about God.
Elementary: Elementary children are ready to dig a little deeper in their understanding of God and what he has done to make it possible for them to be a part of his family. Classes are highly relational and full of activities that help them understand the lessons.
Parent Resources
Here's are previews of how we are teaching the foundation verses in our Sunday morning nursery and preschool classes to help you review the verses with your little ones! You can also click on the playlists to familiarize yourself with songs sung in our nursery classes.
