We are excited for Pastor Dan as he wraps up his residency and moves with Heather and their kids to Union Grove, Wisconsin, to plant The Grove Church. Join us for a come-and-go reception for a chance to say goodbye and thank both Dan and Heather for their good ministry here these past two years! The Nelsons' last Sunday at First Free will be May 5.

Our Kids Choir presents their spring musical, The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit, on Sunday, May 5. You’ll enjoy this energetic re-telling of David and his battle with Goliath. All are invited!
Welcome the Heldings
We are excited to have Chris Helding back on staff, this time as a senior associate pastor! Join us in showering Chris and his wife, Morgan, with gift cards as a tangible expression of our love and care for them as they move to Wichita and join the First Free family. All cards need to be given or mailed directly to them, but you may use the church address or leave them in his box in the church office. Suggestions for cards include grocery stores, local restaurants, or general retail stores! Chris, Morgan, and their three kids arrive in Wichita this week and Chris will begin in his new role in mid-May.
Recognizing Our Graduates
Do you have a graduate in your family this year? We will be recognizing 2023-2024 high school and college graduates in the bulletin on May 19. If you have a name you’d like included, you may submit details online or call the church office by Monday, May 13.
Child Dedication
Sundays, May 12 and June 16
Our next two opportunities for child dedication are Mother’s Day, May 12, and Father’s Day, June 16. If you would like to have your child dedicated, fill out a child dedication application online by Monday, April 29, and plan to attend the Child Dedication Class on Sunday, May 5, from 3:30-4:45 pm.
