75th Anniversary Celebration Weekend
First Free is preparing to celebrate God’s faithfulness over the past 75 years the weekend of March 29-30! All are invited to join us at these events.
Saturday Evening Celebration Service
We’ll begin the evening with snacks at 5:00 in the Activity Hall followed by a service at 6:00 in the Worship Center. In the service we’ll celebrate by looking back at our history in a variety of ways, while we also look forward to continuing our mission to make disciples. This will include a video of the history of the church, testimonies, singing, and a brief challenge from one of our former pastors. To help us plan for food, please register online to let us know if you’ll be joining us for snacks. Childcare will not be available.
Sunday Morning Worship & Classes
Our worship services that Sunday will celebrate God’s work in and through us as a church. Many former pastors and staff will participate in the services along with a special celebration choir. Carlton Harris, president of the EFCA and former First Free intern, will be preaching.
Our regular adult classes will take a break that week to host a combined adult class at 9:00 and 10:45. Come hear from a panel of former pastors and staff as they share their experiences at First Free and how God has worked in their lives since. Join us either hour in the Activity Hall.
Celebration Choir
Calling all current and former choir members! Join us for rehearsals on Wednesdays, 6:30-7:15. If you would like to sing with us on the 30th, but aren’t able to come to rehearsals, please RSVP to Jo Coltrain for more details.
Holy Week at First Free
April 14-20
Walk with Jesus on the road to redemption from the streets of Jerusalem to the hill of Calvary and the empty tomb. This Holy Week we'll be focusing on the Gospel of Luke and the events leading up to the death and resurrection of Jesus. We hope you can join us for these special services to witness the mercy, suffering, and triumph of Christ.

You may reserve a lily online, at the Welcome Desk, or by calling the church office by Monday, April 7.

One of our Easter traditions is serving bundt cakes in the Activity Hall between services. As you can imagine, this takes a lot of cakes! If you would be willing to help by providing a bundt cake, please sign up online or email Donna Logan.
