Jo Coltrain
Women’s Ministries and Adult Education Director
Jo is passionate about people at First Free knowing how much God loves them and desiring to know God through his Word. Her primary responsibilities include leading Women’s Ministries and giving oversight to Sunday morning classes for adults. She has been part of the First Free team since 2003.
Jo and her husband, Terry, have three adult sons and five grandchildren. She spends her free time watching football, biking, reading, and spending time with family, especially her grandkids! She graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in music education and puts those talents to use in our Worship Choir. Prior to coming on staff at First Free, Jo was heavily involved in Bible Study Fellowship leadership for twenty years.
Fun fact: If you need to get people’s attention, ask Jo to whistle; it was loud enough for her kids to hear from inside a neighbor’s house several houses up the street!
