Jordan Green
Connections Pastor
Jordan gives primary oversight to helping people get connected, both new visitors and those who have been around for years. He oversees community groups, our welcome process, membership, and congregational care, as well as being part of our Preaching Team. Simply put, he loves the local church and helping people connect to a place that fosters community and formation. He’s been in his role as connections pastor since 2018.
Jordan graduated with an MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has an undergraduate degree in mathematics from Southwest Baptist University. He and his wife, Sarah Beth, have been married since 2010 and have four young kids, Avery, Allison, Reid, and Teddy. He enjoys being outside, reading (ask him how many times he’s read Lord of the Rings), playing chess and basketball, and coaching his kids’ sports. He can also “coin snatch” fifty pennies from his elbow.
What do you love about doing ministry at First Free?
"People and books. It’s the simple things in life. Haha. I get to work with great people, and that makes all the difference. Also, this church encourages the life of the mind, to think deeply and critically."
