Short-Term Trip Application

Short-term missions trips are an opportunity for you to build partnerships with our missions partners that go beyond praying and financial support. You'll see first-hand how God is working through these ministries and be a part of the gospel going wide to all peoples! If you are interested in learning more about joining a short-term team in 2024, contact Pastor Lucas

Cyprus with Avant Conference

June 22-29, 2024
The missions organization Avant holds an every-other-year conference for its workers to be refreshed and connect with each other. The adults will have teaching sessions separate from their children. The children will be divided into age groups and our church will teach and lead a program for kids 10–12 years old. There will be approximately twenty children in this age group, and we are looking for four adults to go on this trip to facilitate the program.

Moldova/Romania with Mark and Vlad

Summer 2024
Our team would partner with a local church in Moldova or Romania to reach out to their community. We would work to host a VBS for children and run an eyeglasses clinic for adults and others in the community. As we fit people for glasses, the pastor and others at the church will share the gospel with the people and speak with them. There is no need to be an optometrist to go on this trip, we can teach you how to fit people with glasses before we go.

Tokyo with Sarah Roberts and Shige and Luann Nakazawa

Dates TBD
We will join Sarah and her team in ministry to college-age students through English chats. As we do this, we will learn more about Japanese culture and spend time encouraging the kingdom workers there. More information to come.

London with A & S

July 1-8
London Evangelism and Prayer Week (LEAP) is a chance to step out of your comfort zone as you are equipped in kingdom prayer and evangelism empowered by grace. You will be able to participate with church planting teams in ministry amongst unreached people groups in an English language context. Each morning will have a structured time of training, prayer, worship, and fellowship. Then in the afternoon you will learn about South Asian culture and religious beliefs before doing hands-on ministry that includes street outreach and prayer walks.

US Crisis Response with ReachGlobal

Dates TBD
Crisis Response is a ministry of ReachGlobal and the EFCA that helps to organize and mobilize believers across the country to serve local churches and homeowners after crisis. When a crisis strikes, they are committed to physical and spiritual transformation, and they work to rebuild lives and communities by sharing the hope of Christ – all through the ministry of a local church. First Free would organize a team of people to travel to one of the crisis sites (affected by a natural disaster) and help to assist homeowners with home related or community projects.
