Short-term missions trips are an opportunity for you to build partnerships with our missions partners that go beyond praying and financial support. You'll see first-hand how God is working through these ministries and be a part of the gospel going wide to all peoples! These are the trips we are currently planning for late 2025 and 2026. If you are interested in learning more about joining one of these trips, contact Pastor Lucas.
Italy with Monica and Jesse Pauly
November 2025 - This trip is currently full.
Jesse and Monica serve in Rome, Italy. While partnering with local missionaries and pastors, they are helping to plant small churches throughout the city. In November, they are hosting a conference for the missionaries working in their region. While the adult team members spend time together being refreshed, trained, and planning for the upcoming year, this team will provide teaching, activities, and care for their children.
Mexico with Ed and Denise Aulie
7-10 Days in March 2026
Ed and Denise work with a team of indigenous missionaries to plant churches among the Nahuatl people in Veracruz, Mexico. This trip will assist Ed and Denise with their work in the mountains of southern Mexico. Skills with the Spanish language would be a great asset on this trip as we will work to share the gospel and encourage local believers, and possibly help construct a house for a widow in their village.
US Crisis Response with ReachGlobal
7 Days with Flexible Dates
Crisis Response is a ministry of ReachGlobal and the EFCA that helps to organize and mobilize believers across the country to serve local churches and homeowners after crisis. When a crisis strikes, they are committed to physical and spiritual transformation, and they work to rebuild lives and communities by sharing the hope of Christ – all through the ministry of a local church. First Free will organize one to two teams of people to travel to crisis sites and help to assist homeowners with home related or community projects. Our teams will serve where ReachGlobal has the greatest need, this could be in areas affected by Hurricane Ian or Helene on the East Coast or flooding relief in Hunt, Texas.
Zambia with Village of Hope
Summer 2026
The Village of Hope provides education for six hundred students K-12 and provides a home for fifty orphans. This trip could be in early June with a team size of 6-8 people. They are a diverse organization. Teams who visited last summer worked with the orchard, led Bible studies with house parents, worked at the school training teachers and helping in classrooms, painted buildings, presented devotions at the school, helped with administration, and interacted with the children and young adults. Some helpful skills for this trip are farming, teaching, or medical skills, but they are not required. We could still use your help.
Moldova with Mark and Vlad
Summer 2026
Our team will partner with a local church in Moldova or other nearby countries to reach out to their community. We could work to host a VBS for children and/or run an eyeglasses clinic for adults and others in the community. As we fit people for glasses, the pastor and others at the church will share the gospel with the people and speak with them. There is no need to be an optometrist to go on this trip, we can teach you how to fit people with glasses before we go.
Balkans with K
Late spring or early fall 2026
K serves on a team sharing the gospel and building up the local church. Over the last year, they have seen new believers come to faith. They are hungry to grow in their understanding of God’s Word. This trip will teach Bible study principles and equip believers to build up the church and share their faith in the community.
